Some Peculiarities On How Google Reads The 3 Word Back-links – Part Two.

Despite the fact that other competitors had fewer options, they used more words “Chess” in its semantic core than we are. On my site, the emphasis was given to two or 3 worded text in the core, for example, “chess online”. In principle, it is logical to promote 3 worded link, than with the high-anchor. And then I came to understand : the problem is not with the links, the problem was with Google.

With its updates, Google has distorted the effect of two or 3 worded queries. As I understand it, the algorithm has changed the effect of ranking for one word in the phrase matching the query. To explain more clearly : now two or three worded inquiries were ranked as one word. Certainly, you can say that there are many other influential factors, and one can not say that 3 worded inquiry has become so popular. And it as well may be true. But I have another theory: in the upper figure, the query “chess online” and “online chess” are having relatively similar rankings. When I checked the backlinks, I figured out that the query “online chess” has almost no options, at a time when some sites were linked to us using the anchor “chess online”. So, the query “online chess” had lost their positions, and “chess online” remained stable.

Theory # 3- Google renders more weight to the word order in a phrase than it was before. Namely, the 3 worded inquiry is indexed as one word. Well- that is it, I think I have explained my thoughts, now I would like to know your opinion about the theories? Have you had something like that? Maybe someone has ideas on new experiments? Epilogue. On the first of July, six weeks later, my position with the key queries have returned to their initial positions. You are probably are interested in my actions, that resulted into the good rankings returned, aren’t you? But it’s no secret- I did not do anything!
